Montréal, toute une histoire!

Montreal What a Story! ... Along the River makes it possible for you to discover facts, people and a fascinating heritage, all in a magnificent setting. This application’s sixty five documented points of interest and three hundred photographs enables you to travel through time from New France to present day along a 17 km walk. It is free and comes with quizzes and an audio tour.

This application was created by Maison Saint-Gabriel, in collaboration with the Lachine Museum, Maison Nivard-De Saint-Dizier Museum and Archeological Site and the South-West, Verdun, LaSalle and Lachine boroughs. It was also developed in partnership with the Society for the Celebration of Montréal’s 375th Anniversary and with the financial support of the City of Montreal, the Government of Quebec and the Great Montrealers.

Before beginning your walk, preload the app. It is available in French and English. The points of interest are identified on a detailed geolocation-based map.
